On April 14, 2014, Jan was returning a YWAM mission team back to Gran Drac when her van backfired and ignited a pool of gasoline under her vehicle. All eight passengers were able to exit the vehicle safely before it ignited and destroyed everything in the van as well as the vehicle itself.
Most importantly, we are praising the Lord that everyone is SAFE!
Praise the LORD! A new van to replace the one that burned arrived at #1 Hope Street Orphanage in Gonaives, Haiti.
On March 2, 2015 the new van stuffed with supplies arrived at the YWAM base in St. Marc! Jan felt so blessed by everything that was packed and donated. And everything arrived safely in Haiti with nothing stolen!
On March 31, 2015, the van was safely delivered to #1 Hope Street. What an amazing relief and blessing this van is to 37 "Hopesters" and staff!
The MOST important thing YOU can do for the "Hopesters", staff and Jan is to pray for them! Children are such a target of the enemy....but we see changes when we spend time in our prayer closets doing intercession! You are invited to make a difference in a Hopester's life by spending time on your knees. Thank you!
June 2016 - Thirty one barrels, 8,500 lbs of Numana food, three mattresses, bikes, tires, and much more were loaded and are headed to Jan! Praise the Lord for all of these necessities, and for all those that were called to give - either things to send, or financially!
This may look like a 15 - passenger van, but it really is a 40 passenger van! We know - we tried it!
The YWAM base in St. Marc went to the port and got everything out the van for us. This was waiting for us when we arrived. AMAZING!!
Alexis and Eden helped unpack the bus that was full of supplies from the new van!
